Lions, and tigers, and bears! Oh, my!

Actually, the lions were in hiding, the tiger was resting peacefully behind a bagillion chain link fences so I couldn’t capture his beauty with my camera, and as for the bears, well, there’s no bear in Hawaii 😉 BUT we did see lots of other incredible animals. Don’t you just love going to the zoo? All those creatures completely and totally amaze me, I could sit and watch their every move for hoooouuuurrrrrrssss, ask my ever-so-patient Husband.

I have been dying to take my new fancy camera out to play for a while now and what better place to do it than at the zoo?  I probably should’ve waited until AFTER my camera class next month, but who ever said patience was my best virtue. This just means the next time I go, I’ll take even better pictures.  And as an added bonus, we get in dirt cheap b/c we’re “local” so you better bet your bottom dollar we’ll be back.
